Territorial Local Authority (TLA) Project
In this project the policy departments of the 75 TLA's in New Zealand were contacted and asked for their assessment of the primary areas of need for community funding. Read more...
Venue Project
A venue assessment protocol will be developed from that used in the venue census carried out in Nelson/Tasman in 2007. The aim of this will be to determine any features peculiar to that venue that may promote gambling or contribute to resilience. Read more...
Pathways Project
One hundred randomly selected clients who received comprehensive assessments at an outpatient problem gambling counselling service in Nelson will have their files reviewed to assess the presence of co-existing issues such as depression, anxiety disorders and substance dependence/abuse.

DVD Project
The DVD project aims to develop and evaluate a treatment and public health oriented DVD suitable for remote, internet or individual use by clients. At this stage the scripts have been written, a venue has been selected and agreement to film in their gaming area obtained, a production company has been engaged and the first vignette has been completed.
Clubs New Zealand Audit Tool
We have completed our plan and presented it to Clubs New Zealand. We are awaiting word from them to commence the audit in more depth.
New Zealand's Gambling Story
This project will document the dramatic changes in gambling in New Zealand in a narrative and pictorial form so that PGF can tell the New Zealand gambling story to the world.
TLA Community Funding and Policy Development Project
