Papakura Gamblefree Day Family Festival 2009

A fun-filled family festival was held in Papakura on Gamblefree Day, Tuesday 1 September 2009.

The event was hosted by the Problem Gambling Foundation and the Papakura Gambling Action Group. They were supported by ProCare Network Manukau, The Salvation Army,  Raukura Hauora O Tainui, the Framework Trust and the Health Sponsorship Council.

 With entertainment, guest speakers, face-painting prizes and giveaways, the day was a huge success and helped to raise awareness of problem gambling in the Papakura community.
