We help empower communities by providing the tools and resources to educate and inform their community, and assist in the development of local policies around gambling.
We do this by presenting to community groups, businesses and schools so they can make informed decisions about gambling in their community.
We are a national organisation that has an established place in the international problem gambling sector. Our resources and expertise cover the whole country.
We have the benefit of a single focus that enables us to be the natural center of excellence in the problem gambling sector. PGF works with Iwi, and invests in strategic partnerships to build capacity and develop the workforce.
Our Public Health team have helped establish a number of community action groups, so communities can work with their own people at a grass roots level to raise awareness of the harm gambling can cause.
