Class 4 and TAB Training
PGF's leading edge training in Host Responsibility for Class 4 and TAB venues was developed to meet the requirements of the Gambling Act 2003. The extensive training programme was refined through consultation with Class 4 venues and has been approved by the NZ Racing Board as a programme that meets their standards of training requirement.
Consisting of a four-hour programme which includes individual and group activities, this training meets Hospitality Standards Industry training requirements for the Unit Standard - 21499 Demonstrate Knowledge of Problem Gambling in a Class 4 Gambling Environment and a Racing Act Gambling Establishment. The programme includes a high level of interaction between participants to encourage people to share their experiences and ideas for providing a high level of host responsibility for gambling in their venue.
With a training team spread across the country, PGF also has a number of internal HSI accredited assessors so participants in this training can sit the unit standard and be assessed within a very short timeframe. This geographically spread training team means that PGF can also provide cost effective and timely training, when and where it is needed.
